Niko Katsampanis was born in 1994, in Athens, Greece. He is currently living and working between Athens, Greece and Basel, Switzerland. His work as an artist is an interdisciplinary process, that revolves around the creation of a fictional cosmos with a mythological aspect, which portrays parts and subject matters of human thought, psychology, and behavior, usually revolving around existential questions, as entities reminiscent of those of a mythology. In this project he explores fundamental aspects of the human psyche while reflecting on philosophical matters.
  In addition to his art practice he is the founder & artistic director of ‘’F.E.A. | ΦΑΙΑ’’ - initiative for creative endeavours - and the cultural center ‘’MINI MARKET ΦΑΣΗ’’.
