Απόλυτη Αλήθεια
Apoliti Alithia
Final piece by piece analysis
Apoliti Alithia is a being which adapts itself in a person’s head and gains control of his eyesight. The appearance of the revolting being(1) resembles something between an octopus and a starfish. It is usually described as having limbs similar to tentacles, thick hide (2), and an immovable eye (3) covered by a hard shell (2) protruding from its back. The eye is connected with a membrane which the creature attaches to the person's eyes after having clasped the subject's head with its tentacles. This way the person is able to see only the distorted and fixed view that the rooted eye provides(3)(4). The victim, so to say, is never aware of the creature's presence(4)(5) and enjoys the strange and unique sense of comfort Apoliti Alithia can give (6). Due to its thick hide and hard shell but its tight grip as well, it is always very hard to remove an Apoliti Alithia from a person’s head and the host will usually try to fight any attempt for removal(2). Nevertheless, it is possible, depending on how tight and deep Apoliti Alithlia has managed to get a hold of its host, but it is a distressing procedure for the host. The beings origins along with how someone can become a victim of it, are not yet entirely known but it is speculated that the creature has links with a variety of other creatures and deities.
